The benefits of LIVE online Skype/ Facetime personal training.
►You don’t have to be in the same location.
►Your trainer can work with you when you travel, keeping you motivated. Or even if you relocate, you don’t have to say “goodbye” to your favorite trainer. For this very reason, some say Skype/ facebook is a life saver.
►You can have a workout right in your office during lunch.
►And unlike pre-taped workout videos, online Skype/ facebook personal training is live, so the trainer knows what the client is doing, making it easy to correct a client who is doing an exercise wrong – or encourage a client to keep going if he/she wants to quit.
►Results are just as good as being with a trainer face to face!
Rich is now offering online training services. This is an extrapolation of the programs that Rich has used over two decades with incredible success training clients at Rich Bodies Gym in Georgetown. Based on your completion of his questionnaire, and your communication via email, and digital photos taken of yourself, Rich will put together a training program for you. Rich will utilize several factors in the development of your program: current fitness and medical history, age, body composition (based on digital photos, during Rich’s Master’s thesis at Springfield College, where Rich corroborated a significant correlation between visual estimation and actual determination of body composition). Of course Rich will also base your program on the short and long-term goals that you want to accomplish with Rich’s program.
Additionally, based on Rich’s Ph. D. training from the University of Maryland, Rich will also work closely with you regarding your eating habits and nutrition. After Rich’s initial nutritional assessment of your eating, Rich will then make nutritional recommendations that will help you achieve your goals that much more quickly. Rich will ask that you submit a weekly diet diary for Rich to review, and Rich will send back suggestions to improve your diet and nutrition. Rich has several different diet and nutritional modalities that Rich employs with clients that have been found to be successful.
Rich’s training programs are based on sound scientific principles and the most current information found in my research area of exercise physiology. In addition, because Rich wants you to SUCCEED, Rich wants to communicate with you once a day, to check in with you, see how your program is coming along, answer a question or two that you may have, and to fine-tune your program on a day-to-day basis.
Telephone & Online Consultations
If you prefer combining talking on the telephone with emails, Rich also offers telephone consultations in conjunction with his email format. The advantage of this format is that he can talk daily about your workouts, both pre workout and post workout. Rich is also available to answer your specific food questions, make immediate suggestions regarding what you should be ordering from a restaurant or take out versus what you thought might have been a good choice.
